UKAS UV radiometer Calibration

OTC is delighted to announce that we have been granted UKAS accreditation for calibration of UV radiometers at 365nm.

OTC has been accredited for UKAS calibration of luxmeters for many years and has been serving the NDT industry with standard traceable calibration of UV radiometers since 2004. We have now improved our service to offer UKAS accredited calibration as standard on UVA irradiance meters. NDT professionals can now be confident in the results of their meters with UKAS calibration for both lux and UV.

UV Crack

UV is used in many areas and, as it is invisible to the human eye, meters have always been required to ensure that the level is correct for that purpose. UV sources often suffer reductions in irradiance over time requiring frequent measurement to ensure levels are still appropriate. UV meters and sensors can be degraded by the UV and require frequent calibration (many manufacturers recommend a 6 month calibration period). The accuracy of the calibration has in the past been less than ideal and large variations between laboratories were once common. With a UKAS accredited calibration from OTC you can relax in the knowledge that our quality systems and technical procedures have been audited and approved by experts in the field.
