The Exfo FIP-430B is the fully automated fibre inspection probe version in the FIP-400B series, newly introduced in late 2013.

In built focus protection ensures that the inspection process for connector endface analysis (IEC, IPC standards) are not compromised and that all defects are correctly identified.
The FIP-430B can be connected to any of the current Exfo platforms Max700B series OTDR, FTB-1, FTB-200 and FTB-500. It can also be connected into a PC and unlike it's predecessor the FIP-400 the FIP-400B has the licence for ConnectorMax 2 embedded in the probe itself, so one probe can be used on several platforms without the need to purchase multiple software licences.
